Tell us what happened

Include the game name, your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and what you were doing when the problem occurred. A screenshot can help; remove personal information before sending it. Please never send passwords or payment details.

Saved progress and gems

Happy Little Shelves saves its boards, Undo history, settings, and earned gems on your device. It has no account or cloud-save service. Deleting the app can remove its local save, so contact us before reinstalling if you are trying to recover progress.

Game mode and Zen mode keep separate boards. Returning to one mode should bring you back to its saved attempt. Gems are earned only through play.

Optional tips

In versions that offer tips, you can support Happy Little Shelves through Apple's in-app purchases. You choose an amount; none is selected for you. Apple shows the price and asks you to confirm the purchase.

Tips do not grant gems, themes, extra content, or a gameplay advantage. You can play without tipping. If tip options are unavailable in your version, you can continue playing normally.

Sound and comfortable play

Music, sound effects, and haptics can be changed from Settings or the game's Pause screen. Sound also respects your device's silent mode. You can tap an item and then an empty position as an alternative to dragging.

Different shops and items

Open Shops & items from the Home screen to see the five shops and examples of their stock. Choose a shop for items that suit its setting, leave Automatic shops on to rotate through them on new puzzles, or enable Mixed items for an assortment from across the shops.

Your current puzzle keeps its own shop and items. To try your selection immediately, choose Start a new puzzle here. If you have a puzzle in progress, confirm that you want to replace it and its Undo history. Fresh, untouched puzzles and completed boards start directly. Cleared levels and earned gems stay. Choose Done instead to keep your current puzzle.

Optional notifications

Notifications are not available in every version. In versions that offer them, major game updates and NXTPlay news are separate, optional choices in the app. Both start off. You can keep playing without enabling either.
